Dragon Boxer — Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 30, 2025
Publisher: J D’Arc Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our")

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use Dragon Boxerand tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

1) No server‑side collection; on‑device‑only processing

We designed Dragon Boxer to run using only the minimum data necessary on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data to our own servers.

To operate the game, we process certain signals on your device only, such as headset/hand/controller pose, buttons/gestures, collisions, and similar interaction data. We also check your entitlement/subscription statususing the platform’s SDK so purchased features unlock correctly. We do not send this information to our own servers and we do not build user profiles, use advertising identifiers, or track you across apps.

In practice, that means we do not receive your name, email address, mailing address, IP address, or geolocation from you. Your local settings and save files ("Developer User Data") are stored on your device and remain there unless you delete them.

Note for clarity: under platform rules, on‑device use of device signals to render gameplay is still considered “processing,” but we confine that processing to your device and do not transfer such data to our servers.

2) Data collected by the platform provider

When you use Dragon Boxer, the platform provider may automatically collect analytics and technical data about app usage and performance. These analytics appear in the developer dashboard provided by the platform and are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy and platform terms.

We do not control the platform provider’s collection or use of platform data. For requests about data collected or displayed in the platform’s dashboards, please consult the platform provider’s terms, policies, and support.

3) Anonymized / de‑identified data (ours)

We do not currently collect our own analytics or other data to our servers. If in the future we decide to collect de‑identified information to improve the game (for example, aggregated level completion rates), we will update this Policy and ensure such information cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

4) If we ever collect personal data ourselves

If we later add features that require us to collect personal data to our own servers (for example, cloud saves, online multiplayer accounts, voice chat, or crash reports we host), then:

  • We will state the purpose     and legal basis (e.g., your consent or necessity to provide the      service), and limit collection to what is necessary.
  • We will not sell your personal      data. We will not share it with third parties except service providers      acting on our instructions or where required by law.
  • We will explain retention      periods, security measures, and your rights (access,      correction, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction) under      applicable laws (including the GDPR for EEA users, and similar laws      elsewhere), and how to exercise those rights.
  • We will update this Privacy      Policy and its effective date.

5) Your choices & deletion

  • Local data: You can remove our local      settings/save files by uninstalling the game (and/or clearing its local      storage) from your device.
  • Permissions: If a feature requests access to      device capabilities (e.g., microphone for voice features), you can      decline. The feature may not function without the permission.

6) Children

Dragon Boxer is not directed to children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has used the game in a way that causes concern, contact us.

7) Security

We minimize data use and confine game operation to on‑device processing wherever possible. Where platform features are involved (e.g., entitlements), we rely on the platform’s secure SDKs and your device’s protections.

8) International use

If you use the game outside the United States, local laws may grant you additional rights. Because we do not maintain server‑side records, many rights (access, deletion, portability) are typically inapplicable to us; they may be exercised directly with the platform provider for data the platform controls.

9) Changes to this policy

If we add features that involve additional data or start collecting our own analytics, we will update this Policy and revise the effective date above.
