Dragon Boxer — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use Dragon Boxer and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

1) User data we collect and process

Dragon Boxer collects and processes certain data to provide core gameplay and to support platform features (including purchase/entitlement checks for add-ons).

 A) Platform account data
Our app collects and processes the following platform-provided user data:

• USER_ID (Platform User ID): used to identify the currently logged-in user for purchase/entitlement and subscription verification and to restore previously purchased add-ons across sessions.
   
• USER_PROFILE (User Profile): used to access the user’s platform username and profile photo (as provided by the platform). This may be used to display the current user identity in-app (if shown) and/or to support platform feature flows and/or for purchase/entitlement and subscription verification and to restore previously purchased add-ons across sessions.
   

These checks may occur when the app starts and/or periodically during use, including to restore prior purchases even if you do not open an in-app store screen.  

 B) Purchase / entitlement information
To unlock purchased content, the app processes purchase/entitlement status returned by the platform (for example, whether an add-on is owned/unlocked). 

 C) Device and gameplay signals
To operate the game, we process device and gameplay signals such as headset/hand/controller pose, button/gesture input, collisions, and other interaction data required for gameplay, visuals, and comfort features. These signals are used in real time and are not sent to our servers.

 D) Support communications
If you contact us for support, we process the information you provide in your message (for example, your email address and the content of your request) in order to respond.

2) Data collected by the platform provider

When you use Dragon Boxer, the platform provider may automatically collect analytics and technical data about app usage and performance. These analytics appear in the developer dashboard provided by the platform and are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy and platform terms. 

We do not control the platform provider’s collection or use of platform data. For requests about data collected or displayed in the platform’s dashboards, please consult the platform provider’s terms, policies, and support.

In addition, the platform may provide certain account data to the app (such as user ID, username, and profile photo) as described in Section 1.

3) Anonymized / de‑identified data (ours)

Other than the data described in Section 1, we do not currently collect additional analytics or telemetry for our own independent analytics systems. If in the future we collect de-identified/aggregated information to improve the game (for example, aggregated level completion rates), we will update this Policy and ensure such information cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

4) If we later collect additional personal data

If we later add features that require us to collect additional personal data (for example, cloud saves, online multiplayer accounts, voice chat, or crash reports we host), then:

• We will state the purpose and legal basis (e.g., your consent or necessity to provide the service), and limit collection to what is necessary.
   
• We will not sell your personal data. We will not share it with third parties except service providers acting on our instructions or where required by law.
   
• We will explain retention periods, security measures, and your rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and restriction) under applicable laws, and how to exercise those rights.
   
• We will update this Privacy Policy and its effective date.

5) Your choices & data deletion

• Delete local (on-device) data: You can delete Dragon Boxer’s local settings/save data by uninstalling the app and/or clearing the app’s storage on your device.

• Request deletion from us: If you contacted us for support (for example, by email) and want us to delete any personal data you provided in that support request, email DeleteMyDragonBoxerData@jdarcstudios.com. Please include enough information for us to locate your request (for example, the email address used to contact us and the approximate date of contact). We will confirm when the deletion is complete.  We typically complete deletion requests for support emails within 30 days.

• Platform data (USER_ID and USER_PROFILE): Dragon Boxer accesses and uses USER_ID and USER_PROFILE (provided by the platform) for purchase/entitlement checks and optional in-app identity display. We can delete data you send directly to us (for example, support emails) upon request, but platform account/profile data must be deleted or managed through the platform provider’s privacy/account tools and support.

6) Children

Dragon Boxer is not directed to children under 13 years of age. If you believe a child has used the game in a way that causes concern, contact us.

7) Security

We minimize data use and confine game operation to on‑device processing wherever possible. Where platform features are involved (e.g., entitlements), we rely on the platform’s secure SDKs and your device’s protections.

8) International use

If you use the game outside the United States, local laws may grant you additional rights. 

9) Changes to this policy

If we add features that involve additional data, we will update this Policy and revise the effective date above.
